I originally thought that you just needed a bit above $1,000 to buy a sailboat, but you looked again for their prices and changed your goal to more or less $2,000. Nevertheless, something being expensive is generally (but not always) higher quality, but you just have to be smart enough.

    Yes. My original financial goal was around $1000 USD, but I realized that nowadays sailboats are more expensive in Europe than in the USA.

    I believe it is worth your wait to change your financial goal from $1,000 to $2,000 to buy a better sailboat than what you originally intended to buy.
