Greetings everyone on the Hive community! I am @saydie and today, I will be Powering Up Hive to my account. Usually, it was usually the first day of the month but this time, it was in celebration for the 3rd year anniversary of Hive and since it is a special day for Hive, a #hivepowerbday contest has been initiated. For those who want to know more details, you can check on @theycallmedan 's Post where together with @blocktrades have an incredible price of 100,000 HP in Delegations.
The last time that I was able to power up my hive was November last year and I was not able to follow up on it either because I usually forget to do it on the fist day of the month and due to various sales on Splinterlands which is a blockchain game on Hive network which make me broke but since the day was special, I decided to power up 30 Hive with the Swap.Hive that I have on Hive Engine as well as to show you the process on how to do a Hive power up so you can do it to. First I need to withdraw the Swap.Hive from Hive Engine and to do that, I would need to press the Withdraw and choose Swpe.Hive. After that, choose the token and press the Withdraw Swap.Hive button with the default address as your Hive account and approve the Hive Keychain transaction. If you don't have Hive Saved on Hive Engine, you can just trade using what Crypto you have or if you have Hive dollars to convert on Hive. Another option is to use fresh fiat and buy Hive on exchanges like Binance and send it yo your Hive account.

After a few moments, we can now see that the Hive was now on my account on Peakd but there are other ways to do it using other Dapps. Below it was the total Hive Power that I currently have which is 524.762 HP. In order to power up, the next thing to be done was to click the Dropdown button next to Send and click the Power Up which will take you to a Popup Window.

On the Popup window, you just need to either type the amount of Hive you want to power up or move the circle on the line below until it reach your desired amount. After that, click on the Continue button and approve the Hive Keychain and now I have a total of 554.777 Hive power on my account.
