Short Term Benefit vs. Long Term Consequence

This is a question I just learned to ask myself before making investment decisions (and useful for life in general). How would you apply this to you?

Sort:

It's easier to see how this applies outside money, especially with time and health. Watching movies every day after getting home from work may feel good, but that's time that could have been spent building a business or at least a nest egg.

Solid words right here for sure! As much as I'd love to sit down on my ass and watch TV, I change that time into time spent on #Hive, #Leo and other productive things for my family's future. Feels a lot better!

We'll rebuild our system of habits bit by bit, one at a time; no sense in trying many at once and getting down on setbacks. Before we know it, we'll be firing on all cylinders: money, health, time, sanity, relationships, even spirituality.

Long term all the way. That is why I keep stacking #tesla. It is on sale.

No reason to fret about the short term since that is really just a flip of the cards anyway. Markets are very apt to be emotional in the near terms.

Yep! In addition to the shares I bought decided to give myself some added exposure with the 100 March 2024 Call options. Tesla at 250 come March of next year would work out quite nice.

For me, Long Term is the way, and I lose the short-term benefit.

Well look at what the cat dragged in.

A thread here or there is good for the blockchain I hear! :-)

Good to have you involved :)

Don't buy Solana, even if you might make some short-term trading gains.
