I hope you got the water heater issue sorted out. I keep wondering when ours is going to give up the ghost. My husband used to clean out the mineral residue from time to time, but he is incapable of doing that any more, so it hasn't been done for years.

The prognosis is ol trusty is dying, but as we've gotten 17 years of use out of her, I can't complain. When we had standard electric hot water heaters they often died by year five, even with cleaning the calcium out from time to time, I hope yours lasts a bit longer!

17 years?! what is this system? I want one. I replace a hot water heater, somewhere, nearly every year. Ka-ching!
