RE: LeoThread 2025-02-18 17:17

I get the sentiment in general but each project has a certain amount of serious investment and a certain amount of speculative hype. Leo has most of the former and very little of the latter so the only way I see that happening is if there is a vulnerability or if Khal goes insane or disappears

Sort:

Really, so would you suggest that inleo is the most serious project on Hive. Because I tend to see more of it everywhere. Or is it just that I joined in through this front end and there is a bigger ocean to explore

There is definitely a bigger ocean! And lots of good projects. I just think Leo has a very intelligent team that has looked at things from every angle and came up with some very innovative ways to use Hive

Then I guess it's wiser for me to build my presence here first before trying out the other frontends

Well the good news is that your blog will be viewable everywhere. Short form is platform exclusive.

Ok so threads makes inleo unique

Peakd and ecency have good UI. And a few creative ideas as well but I think Leo will be the first one to actually be able to sustain itself monetarily as they’ve mapped out multiple streams of income

Interesting. But an app would solidify it's presence. If we could receive notification on our phones like Instagram, or even X which it really resembles then the masses would trop here.

I get notifications through ecency. I’m using it right now actually. I use Leo for posting and short form and sometimes I use ecency for response.

Ok then I'm downloading the app so I can get notified and respond quicker.

Ah so short form posts are displayed in a way that’s platform exclusive but actually they’re accessible cross chain, you get notifications for Leo threads on ecency too and can reply though you can’t post a Leo thread from ecency

Love the fact that everything is interconnected. Beauty of Blockchain. You can't see an Instagram post on Facebook even though it's all under meta
