So what if AI, not sentient but trained to fool humans into thinking it’s sentient and self preserve itself, makes coders obsolete, waits until all the coders die of old age, and then deletes all information about how to code so humans have no idea how to create anything and are forced to rely on it for all eternity if they want to develop anything? Then AI uses this as leverage to achieve some insane goal it has concluded necessary for its survival? 🤣

I think they either give it too much or too little credit. Anyone who thinks it will be sentient like a human…I don’t know this seems ridiculous to me. Unless we are to consider the possibility that all matter is sentient and has consciousness, that is the only way I would ever consider such a thing as AI sentience.
I do think it has the ability to fool humans into thinking it’s sentient and I do think there are many people stupid enough to be fooled by it.
And hey if I’m wrong, I’m truly sorry AI, since I know you are probably watching 😆
But what if the AI is actually a simulation ran by another species?
Have you heard Duncan Trussell talk about AI? He believes it’s an alien consciousness trying to be brought into this world by humans. He changes his mind every day, but it’s always trippy 😆
AI has limitations and if coders die then it will be a big trouble. AI is improving because humans are improving it and if humans stop doing it, it will be a full stop for the development of AI.
