I think one of the hardest hurdles to overcome with regards to building an HBD marketplace is that most of us at Hive are either below average income in our country and struggling， from countries where a few HBD can go a long way.....and then a bunch of us are just stingy 🙃

Also the difference in country makes it a little difficult for someone like me to earn money here. My classes in Tokyo cost $35 which is completely reasonable and any less would make it hard to survive.... I'm trying to offer Japanese practice and tutoring on subscriptions for $5 and I think that's too much for some people....
Seriously though, if I wanted to survive on that, I'd need 400 subscribers lol....

Well, what I think is that most people have little knowledge about online business.
True, but how many people at Hive are willing to spend their HBD? It's probably less than 20%. They come here to earn and HODL or sell.
Personally, if I have a place where I can spend HBD directly, I will gladly take advantage of it. Another thing is that there are no many Hive users in most places for someone to get patronage.
