RE: LeoThread 2024-01-25 06:44

I’m noticing a lot more comments that make me question whether or not the person read the post. I suspect people are copying and pasting the AI descriptions and pretending it’s their comment or just replying to a description.

If I suspect you of this you’ll get half an upvote at best and if my suspicion is high you won’t get any upvote or reply. Don’t waste your time.

There are two or three people who I can’t tell if it’s a language or culture barrier though. I don’t want to accuse them but if I find out you are just spamming AI comments, I will tell everyone I know about it.

If you don’t want to read my articles but want my upvote, feel free to interact with my threads.

I've called this out a couple of times in my own posts, and in both cases they admitted that's what they were doing. They don't get my votes either.

I don’t know why it’s so difficult for me to confront people about this kind of things but I guess I will. Good idea

Agreed! There are definitely some comments across the community that seem a little... artificial? I'm pretty used to the variety where someone clearly is commenting just after reading the title and maybe the first couple of sentences.

I guess a lot of people want "money for nothing."

maybe I should confront these two people. They’ve been very loyal and sometimes I feel like they actually read my posts so I don’t want to start ignoring them or giving them shit if it’s just a language issue

Chasing upvotes only works so long. Eventually, hopefully, they learn that really commenting on what they think and interacting will get them even more upvotes. !PIZZA
