A million is still considered a lot for most people in Tokyo but you are far from set for life. It would allow me to buy a house here though, which would make life easier.
I’m more interested in my Hive monthly income reaching $1500 which would cover my living expenses. At that point I’d feel much more confident starting a company in Tokyo where the cost of failure can be devastating to someone who doesn’t have multiple steady sources of income.
