Just landed... Our trip to Alaska was very very awesome!!!

I have tons of pictures and made a good handfuls of #leoshorts of beautiful natural scenery.

I can't wait to show you all.

In the meantime, can you guess what's in this box we brought home with us?

Sort:

Alaska? That's amazing!

Shorts are still iffy. Actually we got word it is now in the hands of 3Speak.

ah OK. I was able to upload one short when I had a good internet connection and then that was it.
Thanks for the heads up... I have a lot now catching up to do here!

Yeah. Well with shorts, nothing has really changed since you left, still hit or miss. I was 2-2 so far today and just sent another through. We will see if it posts or is a miss.

I hope you have some pics to share with the photocast.

Yeah #photocast photos are on the way now!

That is good right? Partnership with @inleo and @3speak?

Well it is 3Speak infrastructure so it all have to go through their APIs. Leo can only pull what is delivered by the API. If something, such as a video, is not serviced up, it cant pull it.

That appears to be the problem. There is a hiccup with the way the beneficiary are processed (or not as seems to be the case).

The way I understood it (keep in mind this was a couple of years ago when I was slightly up to speed on #hive apps, that the videos uploaded to the 3Speak interface were stored by members of the community instead of a big server like YouTube uses. Is that the problem?

Who remembers Kimba the White Lion? Memories from my youth

3Speak thingy.I may be oversimplifying things. @theycallmedan is so smart I had trouble following the whole

I think they are loaded onto IPFS but you are right, it isnt being done through AWS or someone like that.

I have no clue what could be causing the problem other what is being fed to the API. Above my techie level.

that is well above my understanding... ipfs... aws... sorry! Well I tried uploading one just now to see what happens

They are the servers. AWS is Amazon's cloud.

We’ve been told it can’t be looked into until next week apparently

I’m evaluating our options

Hmm. Do you have many?

Seemed to put a lot into that basket.
