A RECAP on the educative forum hosted by @breads on the X space was so educative as it guided us through how a community or project can stay engaged even after mint. Many speakers gave several opinions and ideas on the different strategies that can be employed to achieve this aim. For one, when a project is up and running it requires strategies, researcb and lots of hardwork so that it can thrive in the space of adverse competition. Somehow from experiences, it's easy for a community to go down when necessary steps are not in place and it is difficult to build back up.
I will be given a RECAP on the strategies the speakers gave that can help communities do well in their projects. Some factors included the use of NFTs, rewards systems, having clear expectations, partnerships, gamification, feedback, community management, discord exploration, events.
The first major strategy that most speaker gave consent to was that, founders or project owners should set clear expectations by means of the positivity of the project, it's goals and vision right from the start to the end. A whole lot is expected for the project to excel in the web3 space, hence all hands needs to be on deck to achieve the set goals and visions. Even if they change, because it's is constant, maintain a Dev team that will look into issues when they occur.
Gamification is another means to ensure that a community stays engaged even after mint. By this the founder of a project or community should employ various fun means to make their users stay glued. By gamification, it simply means the applying elements of game playing point scoring, competition with others, rules of play and so on just like what is happening in the hive zealy marketing campaign presently. Do stuffs that the user ls will enjoy and at the same time put in their hardwork and not stay idle or isolated. I the hive zealy campaign, there are activities to be carried out which will earn members a reward at the end.
Feedback is another method for communities to stay engaged, as the speaker mentioned a community that does not allow its members or users partake in the decision making of the project is likely to go down, as they will be ignorant of what the users want to make user experience friendly. Just like the inleo community, they give room for feedback and are very fast in responding to complaints or comments from members, all you need do is create a detailed thread on the issue and use the hashtag feedback, be rest assured that they will handle it. This is definitely a cool way to keep members engaged.
Lastly, a speaker made mention of events both physical and virtual. A community can host events in different part of the work for days or week, gather people in that are LA together, have seminars and so on and also display it virtually for people that can make it. Just like the hivefest tagt happened this year, it brought people together to discuss the grand way forward for hive.
Somehow, the hive and INLEO communities are doing so well in keeping their communities engaged by deploring all these means hence they are a good example. In view, this is a brief recap of the breads space show and all that went down after listening to it.
