Still learning to understand the crypto markets. @edicted makes many good posts on this topic. Personally I think the rise of Dogecoin in price is just hype. I would not use its rise and fall as a market indictor.

I think its all because of Elon Musk. He is the biggest pumper of Doge and I wonder how much Doge he actually has in his wallet.

Yea I don't see it succeeding unless they resolve the issue of a use case. But the market tends to stay irrational longer than I can stay sane so who knows.
