I'm having trouble working out business plan financial projections for operating as a blogger on Hive. The trouble is, I never know how much my blog posts will earn. Most earn less than 1 HP. But on occasion I'll have a home run. The majority of my HP is from direct investment.

Sort:

oh man, i've been writing basically every day on this chain for 6 years now. there is no guarantee at all lol i'm grateful for even 1 HP

Right, there's no guarantee. That's why it's difficult to make financial projections. I'll just have to write that.

I grew my the slow way I earned them from blogging and comments and my HP keeps growing daily

With so much to do on Hive, it's easy 2B experimenting 4 years B4 U find a plan which works for you. Long form, short form, image sharing, Q&A @ Reverio, gaming, diesel pools, HBD in savings, ...; it's trial & error until we figure it out.

It's a constantly evolving environment. Any projection I make would soon be outdated.

Content is hit-or-miss; it may be a good idea 2let non-content part of Hive do D work until D content part begins 2produce regularly. Between diesel pools, $$-generating tokens, & staking, U may get some good results; content would B bonus.

Hard to make a business plan for HIVE. It is easier to make a content plan though so you always know what you should write about.

You are probably right.

I don't hive as a business but I treat it as random blessing. I am too weak to plan and schedule and execute. I treat it as gods plan now. I can plan and project on other platforms not on hive. Because there you can have projection here everything is random.

It's just as doable. There are many unplanned aspects of my life that turned out better on their own than if I had planned them.
