It's a development in the LeoFinance community where you can send micro-blogs similar to Twitter. It has just been released in the past week or so.
If you go to the LeoFinance front end and look at the menu in the top leafy hand corner, you will see "threads". When you click that, it will take you to a screen that has a feed of the latest threads. At the top is a button "threads" - that takes you to a screen that looks like you are going to make a comment (it uses similar technology to comments behind the scenes) - you can post a short message and include links to other posts (like the Saturday Savers Club post, for example).
Some other commenters have already tried it and left the link to their thread, so you could have a look at how others have used it.
