I believe that if we own something, if we have NFTs or tokens in our hands, but they have no use, whether for a game or a hold, it really doesn't make sense for you to have them in your possession, after all, because you will keep something that serves no purpose? Why have a hammer if there are no nails to hit? It is necessary to create use for our assets, so that they do not collect cobwebs.

Sort:

Exactly. If you have items that are of no use, they will remain idle, and this is bad even for the economy of the project to which the NFT itself is linked, because the money won't circulate, and new money probably won't come in.

The value related to them has to move, the blockchain economy has to move, otherwise there will just be more assets and more NFTs sitting idle. I think it's very interesting that we can always use them for something, there are some tokens in the hive that don't do anything, not a tip command, no stake, no passive gains, nothing and I think this all pollutes our wallet and the network as a whole.

I loved your analogy about nails and hammers, and indeed, you're absolutely right. NFTs need to have utilities because that's what brings value to the asset. Unless you're a collector, NFTs need to have utility; that's super important!

Exactly, this reminds me of Splinterlands, which until recently had many cards that were sitting idle, because it was expensive to level up or for any other reason, in addition to selling, buying and renting, now they can be used in the lands to produce items and everything. This is a good example of how we can have more use cases for our asset, which in this case are the game's NFT cards.

Concordo contigo, NFTs sem utilidade para mim não tem valor.É o caso de NFT arte, para mim é um mercado para lavar dinheiro
