I've already thought of something really crazy for the hive, and if in the next HF a rule was placed that people can only make 1 post every 24 hours and if you want to continue earning something, all interaction must be done through comments and votes on comments? What would be the impact? The reception? Would it be a good or bad idea? #brainstorm #reflection #hive
That hurts the decentralization idea! hehehe. However, that's why there are people around here to downvote spammers to protect the rewards. But I see why you brought up this idea since it is difficult for someone to produce something creative 3 to more times a day.
LOL, I already realized that it would be a bad idea, but that's good, the brainstorm just to encourage people to discuss new ideas and new things that can make the hive a better place!

I think its a bad idea. This will restrict creativity and posting in different communities in a day.
Example
Do first post related to finance in INLEO
another post related to actifit activity in actifit community and so on.
Hello, it took me a while but I arrived haha, yes, people already showed me that the idea really wouldn't be cool, so I think it's good to also have some brainstorms to discuss ideas that may or may not improve Hive. My intention with this would be to make people understand that your post is something special, being once a day, so you would have to create something really incredible or do your best and not focus on low-effort posts.
Besides perhaps it would be an incentive for people to comment more and create greater interaction, many comments I see are too simple, I don't think people even read the post itself, so it would be an idea to encourage this, but it has already fallen apart (good thing haha)! 😅
So you are putting a limit to what can go into the database of once every 24 hours?
That is pretty foolish?
The main idea would be to stop people who want or try to do unrestrained farming, this would give you the feeling that each post of yours has to be unique, well done, that once a day you have to do your best! So this would force people to try to create their posts more diligently.
The second point would be to force the comments to be really well done, no "good work" or "that's cool", because if you really want to continue earning something on a day when you've already made your post, you need to "enchant" the authors and other people with their comments, so that they actually feel like voting for your comments.
I believe this would improve engagement and interaction between people, of course it's an idea, a prototype to try to make people stop seeing hive as just a way to make money but rather gain knowledge and make good friends.
So news agencies couldnt post but once a day?
You do realize that Hive is a decentralized database. People need to get out of the mindset of using Hive just for rewards.
This idea would actually be bad for profiles that come into this regard, just like for example the leoglossary that another member commented on, I hadn't thought about it, as his service is precisely to create various teaching and information content, waiting 24 hours would be a bad idea haha 😂
People need to get out of the mindset of using Hive just for rewards.
It will be a long journey until this happens, but when it does, it will be liberating for the ecosystem and especially for the users themselves.
I agree, perhaps one of our biggest challenges today is this, changing the idea that people have about Hive as a "money-making machine" or that getting resources here is easy and effortless.
Yeah, the message and use for rewards has been overly dominating. oar about use cases and building and using the blockchain which holds data.
I understand what you are saying, but I'm just looking at the track record of all other social media platforms which rather encourage ppl to post multiple times a day.
They might se more value in the quantity of content instead of just quality.
Interesting topic. Hope @taskmaster4450le will talk about this on Lionsden
I understand, I have a vision more focused on quality than quantity, but I'm just a grain of sand in this immensity of Hive lol. If you are thinking about attracting more people to Hive or promoting more about what the ecosystem is, I believe that volume will be seen first over quality, so it really makes sense to have much more volume and intensity of posts and data traffic.
You have a great point, it will encourage people to put in more effort in creating valuable content and reasonable comments and building a good friendship with others hive creators.
I don't think it's a good idea to limit the number of top-level posts. I'm sure a lot of accounts will be damaged by it, and if there's rules to bypass that, (like posting 10 comments for each top-level post,) they'll be abused.
This idea of mine has already fallen apart 😅 , but I'm happy to see so many people commenting and sharing their opinion, I really liked it. I hope to bring more brainstorms like this, maybe some really cool ideas will come up that could improve the hive in some way.
Yeah, if you had an idea like that again, throw it our way. It might generate something good!!
I don't think this idea should even be considered.
Even I'm already convincing myself that it wouldn't be a good idea lol 😂 , it's great to brainstorm like this.
Hmm I dont think thats a good idea to decide how many times you can post on the blockchain, just look at what @taskmaster4450le is doing with @leoglossary.
But hey I'm no expert 🤔
Yes yes, it would be an idea or a way to make people understand that your post would be unique, as a unique opportunity or chance to do something incredible and in a way stop the farms that want so much to make low quality posts.
Of course, this would go against profiles like leogrossary, so it would be a very negative point.
I'm curious because I might not follow the entire ecosystem that closely, but is there a big problem with reward pool raping right now?
I believe that most of those who were abusing it, at the time of the infamous giveaways, have already left, with the downvotes (which is also a way of balancing things), but I also believe that there are always some who try. I have in mind some profiles that are very suspicious, but out of politeness and ethics, it's better not to talk about them.
Nah... free of speech important na... you can't force posters to do something, they should feel part of hive community and do what it takes to grow the Hive ecosystem on their own, right????
Yes, I agree with you, the original idea was to somehow strengthen the idea that you have a single post per day and that you should attribute your greatest potential to it, put in maximum effort, so you could stop posting for a while. effort, as well as encouraging people to interact more through comments, but apparently it's not a really good idea, anyway, the best way is to move on to the next ones! Thanks for your comment!
Most of users only make a post every 24 hours because are afraid of being laveled as abusers of the reward pool
