I think Threads is a great way to get hivians to know you. For example, I just read your threadstorm and voted you as a witness.

Then I see accounts like earn/hive rocketing up the ranks because they 'offer rewards for votes' Which i feel is just a meh way to go about it. I don't need greedy people voting for me. =p

(I vote for you because you're an independent witness who is not part of the current Hive elite).
That's pretty much my main thing at the moment, Independent witness not run in a datacenter etc etc.
If I could ever get my head in gear i'd have some projects to show off too but that's unlikly to happen.
