From the first water well to the 18th water well

source

Starting April, 2022

  • From the first Hive Bore Hole to the recent 18th Hive Bore Hole, this project is making a big impact on the lves of the people of Ghana/

Health

  • It reduces the incidence of waterborne disease, which disproportionately effects woman and children, especially children.

Wealth

  • From what I read in these articles; Previously the woman and children spent hours walking long distances to find water. A journey which meant the woman couldn't spend that time on crops, livestock and the household. These things increase household wealth, and the people had great difficulty doing them.

Education

  • Since the children spent hours everyday retrieveing water, they had less time to study and get a good education. Another brick in the wall of advancement for a community economically.

Pride, and Innovation

  • I feel that those who embraced the technology of the blockchain, in particular the Abundance Economy of Hive have also embraced water well technology, plumbing, masonary, woodworking are all encouraged by building projects lke these. This is a big boon to the people who are skilled craftsman because it gives them a steady schedule of projects to work on, earn wages and increase their knowledge of their crafts. This leads to innovations which can be used not only on the Bore Hole Project, but other construction projects in their community.

Economics

  • This also leads to adoption of cryptocurrency as a store of value and medium of exchange. And has lead to adoption of HBD in commercial transactions in Ghana.

Turning Stories into Glories

source

  • This post was about the 17th Hive Bore Ole in Ghana.
  • This small story of water wells is creating glorious resulkts all over Ghana and spreading the name of Hive, along ith the use of the Hive Stablecoin HBD in Ghana.
  • This story was especially impressive, as it showcased the importance of meeting with local community leaders, respecting traditional leadership, upholding the culture and values, and it garners the support of the populace for the project. As the leaders and elders embrace the project, the community embraces it and preserves it, so the impact continues after the reporters and news people have gone home.
  • Several articles by @mcsamm and @missbitcoin-sv contain stories of HBD use in Ghana at stores and restaraunts. As @taskmaster4450 famously said, Stablecoins are the real utility coins which will lead to mass adoption, and both the story of USDT Tether and HBD illustrate his pint beautifully.

Just the beginning

  • While this is the 17th Hive Bore Hole in Ghana, it is not the last, and these communities and people positively impacted by Hive is a story with no end.
We can all be proud and happy about this project, and a little support would hurt.
  • The beneficiary of this post is @mcsamm as my small way of supporting this project.
  • I suggest you contact @mcsamm @collinz, the co-founders of this project and @missbitcoin-sv who is collaboration with @mcsamm to do a travelling tour introducing Hive Bore Hole at various meetings and events like Hivefest and others.
  • I hope you see the immense value in this project.

I can imagine that changing from the previous situatiion, to a situation with clean water and many valuable hours of time suddenly regained, will do wonders.

Infrastructure is under rated in importance, until you live somewhere where it is poorly maintained or non-existent.
