Interesting ideas about thought evolution, which I agree with...
It seems very reasonable to revisit thoughts and opinions or even explanations about how things work as we experience them.
Our experiences shape our thoughts, so it seems natural that they should evolve over time.
Our experiences are not static, so our thoughts and opinions should be either.
I think we shy away from this aspect, to our deteriment, and to the detriment of our readers in order to avoid criticism, but in doing so we miss out on the ability to share our growth.
I think this is an opinion brought about by experience, and it is growth.
