Increased Static Shocks Now a Day!! Don't you think its Surprising?

This is kind of survey post for increased number of static shocks. I live in Delhi-India and from past few months we are experiencing very strange increase in static shocks. First we thought it might be just normal case but today I saw a friend talking about it on WhatsApp status and asking if someone else is also experiencing the same?

He also posted a News article where it stated that people are experiencing an increased number of electric shocks now a day, the article also said that scientists are suggesting 2 possible reason for that

I don't know the reason but I am experiencing a large number of electric shocks now a days and it was never happened before. I tried to find about it online yet I didn't find any particular article talking about it so I am posting it here and asking for your help.

Are you also feeling frequent static shocks?
If Yes then do you know the reason behind it?

We know what 4G did to the animals and birds and I don't want to imagine what 5G could do!!
