My 2021 Coins #11: Government Issued Bullion Coins

In addition to those I've shown of my 2021 coins, these are the basic government issued bullion coins. Just merely 6 years ago, these and a few more (included in the others because they had animals such as the Krugerrand) comprised the government issued coins.

This 2022, there will be much, much more! The good news is one can stack without being bored.

2021 British Silver Britannia Coin

25th release of coins in the 1 oz British Silver Britannia series, Contains 1 Troy oz of .999 pure silver in BU condition, the face value of 2 Pound sterling (GBP) is fully backed by the British government.

2021 Mexico Silver Libertad

Mexican Libertad Coins are unique among bullion coin collections for a number of reasons, but one of the most obvious is a lack of a noted face value on the coins. Like the South African Krugerrand Coins, the Mexican Libertad Coins are considered legal tender by the issuing nation, but the Libertad boasts a floating face value based on the price of silver per ounce on a given day. This is the opposite of coins such as the American Eagle, Canadian Maple Leaf, British Britannia, and Chinese Panda collections.

2021 Canadian Silver Maple Leaf Coin

33rd year of release for the Canadian Silver Maple Leaf coins, contains 1 Troy oz of .9999 pure silver. Both sides of the Canadian Maple Leaf coin have radial lines engraved that reflect light in unique ways and serve as a deterrent to counterfeiting.

2021 Austrian Silver Philharmonic Coin

14th release year for the Austrian Silver Philharmonic coin, bears a face value of 1.50 Euro backed by the federal government of Austria.

2021 Armenian Silver Noah’s Ark Coin

10th anniversary in the Armenian Silver Noahs Ark Series. Contains 1 Troy oz of .999 pure silver in BU condition. The face value of 500 Dram is fully backed by the Armenian government.

And the toughest Government minted coin to get is the Russia Saint George Victorious coin. Tried to get just one on eBay but the seller walked off with my cash and PayPal refunded me. Was a bit expensive for one coin anyway.

Thats the one with St George Slaying the Dragon.
I thought that was priced with reasonable premium. But then there are all sorts of sellers in Ebay
The certified coins are absurdly priced!
I am glad I don't collect coins!

Yes that's the one.
Portrayed in the Traditional Russian Orthodox style that I thought as a cool yet different representation of St. George slaying the Dragon.

All very beautiful coins @silversaver888, but my favorite is the Austrian Silver Philharmonic coin!😀 Always sold with a premium to spot, but it has a special place in my silver stack!

I was immediately impressed by the connection to the philharmonic Orchestra. With Liz and I being musicians, I felt a connection. I can’t even decide if the Obverse or the reverse is my favorite… both designs are beautiful!😊 lastly, my Grandfather was an Officer in the Austria/Hungary military in the early 1900’s. Some time I will post a photo of him in his turn of the century Military uniform!😊

I think this year marks the 25th anniversary of the maple leaf Canadian designation coin.
The coin are legally tender and accepted all form of payment.
