I think that comes back to the whole debate about low effort content. But the numbers don't lie. Sometimes I often more upvotes on a stupid meme than on a blog post that took me hours to slap together. They're clinging to an ideal that doesn't pan out.

i cant remember who said this, it was at one time a very active user of the blockchain....they said it's not the world's duty to change for the blockchain. it's for us to change for the world and make them feel welcomed.
that was the general idea though....we are stuck in 2016. we need to embrace change.
