Not sure what you mean.
I don't really care to market Hive to end users, you need to market projects.
also I don't think people should hold Hive to see the price go up.
You should use HBD.
That is why darkcloaks.io only uses HBD.
I don't think the community should fund businesses that have shown they will waste the funds given to them.
Everyone here is against waste. But how can the community prevent the community from supporting potential failure (all things) if the (insert brand here) community which is part of the community supports their community and brand?
if the community wants to take on the risk, that is all and good.
my point is : we can't just the risk as a community if it is just a popularity contest.
Valueplan we now is a waste
SPL refuses to show metrics or how they lost 10's of millions of dollars.
etc...
We need to raise awareness.
remember during the Justin steem/hive BS the smaller accounts made a difference.
So if the smaller accounts are made more aware we can change the chain.
I don't think it's fair to call it a popularity contest in the same way I'm not disappointed with the world for supporting various products I have no use for.
I have another comment coming in response, cannot fit here so please hold.
Agreed, inexperienced accounts can't be kept in the dark and need to know they're valued (strength in numbers). If I support, that 90k HP flips the switch and ignites the Bystander Effect. Do that often, they'll never show up.
I'm curious. Is your position coming from a place where you'd prefer Hive doesn't get any credit whatsoever, when it comes to situations like those?

The witnesses and the DHF need to be cleaned up.

I agree with that also. More efficient.
