There is should be NO layer 2 tokens / coins in any games.
Web3 games should not have their own tokens.
use the underlying layer 1 tokens.
This is why web3 gaming, play2ear ponzis are dying out with an every shrinking player base.
The tokens always go to zero.

. in my opinion they should just leave the tokens out and focus on having a good game and try to sell the cosmetic and skins and stuff that can be nfts intead x.x but that's just me
agreed. but you can't sell cosmetics as NFT's because you can't save Images to layer 1 of any blockchain.

the only thing you can save on chain is Immutable Human Readable text.
that is the only thing that has value.
