Was checking out the movies calendar for 2025 with my wife and if we take the family to watch 13 movies that we like it would roughly be at least $780 bucks, idk 🤔 thats a month of rent #skiptvads , #moviesonleo , #superman , #captainamerica

This is exactly why piracy became popular, and why streaming took off when it was only Netflix. Sadly we are now recreating a fragmented landscape with streaming and people are paying a lot more again, pushing them back to pirated stuff.

Im a simple guy and always wonder if its me not wanting to spend more or is it that its actually expensive now days, I did that $780 on 13 movies based on what we spend the last time and it was a basic teather , not the vip or high end screen 🤷... now watching 13 movies in a year Im not sure if thats too much neither

I stopped going to the movies once I could stream from the comfort of my living room. The moment they started adding breaks in the middle of a movie, it was over for me.
