Artificial Intelligence, I believe, is the most powerful tool ever built by man. I used the word "tool" because that's basically what it is - a powerful tool. As a student, I have started studying and reading articles about AI and its potential because all signs point to one fact: every technology that will be and is being produced will have some sort of AI in one way or another.
I saw a funny meme someone posted on Threads some days ago:
Chai GPT, a tea shop with that name, and below it reads:
Chai GPT (Genuinely Pure Tea) Enhanced with AI (Adrak & Ilaichi)
That to me was a very funny play on words.
But on a more serious note, I believe AI is going to enhance everything around us. You know those sci-fi movies we all watched as kids some years back showing the world in 2030, 2050, and so on?
It looked far-fetched and almost impossible to happen.
But now AI is making all those look more possible. Look at Jarvis from Iron Man. Try talking to ChatGPT or any of the AI models out there and you feel like Tony Stark.
AI really expresses the full definition of what we call technology. The idea of technology is to make things easier and faster, and you would agree with me that since creation, nothing has been made which is that powerful and simplifies our work.
As I study more about it in some PDF books I downloaded online, AI to me looks like man's attempt to create another man. God creates sun (according to biblical worldview), man creates the light bulb. Man has always wanted to mimic its Creator, and now wants to reproduce itself.
If you've read the book of Genesis, God said:
Let us make man in our own image
Now man is trying to make man in its image.
AI being the brain, metals being the bones, and silicon being the flesh.
This to me is the main reason why most people are intimidated by it.
The fact that it looks like it can replicate people.
It's a known fact that now certain tasks which required human effort have been replaced, especially the basic things.
But I'm of the opinion that no matter how we try, we will only end up with what God ended up with - in our image and likeness but not fully him.
Do you get the analogy I'm giving here?
AI can go as far as humans can go because, based on the training, it learns and grows on human data.
This means Humans will lead the way.
The only person who should fear is the one who is not adapting, developing his or her skill set, and utilizing what has been produced.
Some years back, horses and camels were means of transportation, then came cars. They did the same move but in a different way. If you were in the horse business and you failed to adapt to the trend, it meant you were out of business. Now I know AI is a whole different ball game to the analogy I'm using, but the idea still persists.
Adapt or Become Irrelevant
The conclusion of the matter to me is this: AI will do most of the heavy lifting while we do most of the creativity and innovation. Yes, AI has some level of creativity, but it's as good as whoever is prompting it. Already I have given off one hint of what needs to be learned to utilize the tool (prompt engineering).
Instead of getting scared, take advantage of the tool.
So, any job which does not require creativity should feel threatened by AI. If I'm to advise teenagers, I would tell them to develop their creativity for the world they will be living in.
These are just my opinions and thoughts, would love to hear yours in the comments.

This is a book I'm studying at the moment. Enjoy and tell me what you think.
