RE: An economy based on the Hive ecosystem in the state of Sucre, progress at the beginning of the year 2023.

Suggestion: Talk to the businesses which are accepting HBD about who are their vendors (merchandise, supplies, contractors, etc.) and encourage those businesses to accept HBD as well. This gives the businesses accepting it something to spend it on other than selling it. In other words, try to grow the network if Hive-enabled businesses vertically as well as horizontally.

This is a good approach that can be made in the near future. In order to grow the Hive economy in certain areas we must provide liquidity. Users are doing so by spending some of their hive blogging earnings in local businesses, yet, that seems the main source of liquidity. Venezuelans most of the time look for $ in the black market to protect against inflation. We could make HBD attractive to suppliers by:

  1. Inserting more liquidity
  2. Creating a trusting p2p market to exchange $Hive or $HBD for local currency
  3. Tell businesses and entrepreneurs about how attractive could be the %20 APR from savings.

Regards.

Thank you very much for your suggestions @smooth , We are laying the groundwork in the state of Sucre for this to happen in the future. To reach these large suppliers first we must have a solid business base where consumption from our cryptocurrencies are also higher in these businesses already captured, and thus give greater mobility to our coins and that large companies in the country feel the interest.
