The real issue isn’t that AI will steal our jobs; it’s that we’ve created a society that relies on jobs.
We see job automation as a threat instead of a chance to be free. Why is that? Because we’ve linked our basic dignity and survival to having to work.
I agree with that take. Unfortunately, I've been in that cycle of working for the man most of my life because I was conditioned to be a slave to work from the get go. With that said, I don't fear AI. I believe it will empower people to buck the trend of using it to make it work for them.
Yeah, like the days of old, those in the horse business could not transition when cars came in, so they went out of business. If people don't transition to the era of AI, well, history would repeat itself in a more techy way
