Perplexity, an AI search startup, is rolling out AI-generated ads for U.S. users, similar to what Google does. These ads will pop up in follow-up questions and be sponsored. Even though the company’s getting some heat for things like plagiarism and not giving credit, they’re calling themselves a premium alternative to Google. They make money from their Premium subscription, but they don’t think that’s enough to support a long-term revenue-sharing plan.
Is someone stealing Inleo's premium subscription ideas?
You never know. These things are not written in plain sights.
