Thanks for taking the time to respond to my threads.

Yeah I mean logging our data whiles we're browsing. I noticed it's a frontend and that's what brought that thought to mind.

With the Blockchain activities (post, votes etc) I understand. Was only considering other stuff that compromise anonymity like IP, phone device etc, like any website would probably do...

Sort:

That is a valid concern and I have no answer, I guess one way would be to protect yourself on your end using VPN or even TOR if you want to push it that far. You could also choose to interact directly with the blockchain by running a node but you lose the benefits of using the inleo frontend and premium features. Maybe you can have a very anonymous account if you want to post sensitive stuff and a more social account where you can accept the risk of potentially losing anonymity.

I guess I'd go with the Social. I knew about the fact that the hive Blockchain in general couldn't do that, but the front ends built as a site might be able to. I got curious about the policies. But with what I read, it seems they didn't state that one on the policy page so I'd assume they don't log that data.

Anyways I was only trying to see if it's full blown decentralization with all of its dos and don't, but I learned you just can't have it all.
