It is evident that a large number of spiritual and religious movements from all over the world and throughout all of history have prophesied that we are living at an incredibly important turning point for humanity, even if you haven’t considered in great depth the idea of the web of knowledge that shares a spiritual connection to all of humanity, it’s not a hard thing to believe when you consider how many ancient civilisations share the same symbols and beliefs without ever having contact with eachother, the swastika for example, we have used since before we even knew how to write., then there are the pyramids... which remain unexplained to this day.
As for the shared beliefs try to compare those from the New Age movement and also expressed by many astrologers seeing the Age of Aquarius as “that time when humanity takes control of the Earth and its own destiny as its rightful heritage, with the destiny of humanity being the revelation of truth and the expansion of consciousness, and that some people will experience mental enlightenment in advance of others and therefore be recognized as the new leaders in the world.”
With others like the Rasta belief that humanity will be ushered into a "new age". This is conceived as being a millennium of peace, justice, and happiness in which the righteous shall live in Africa, now a paradise. In the 1980s, many Rastas believed that the Day of Judgment would happen around the year 2000. The Mayan Calendar ending in 2012, The Book of Revelation in the Christian bible depicts an eschatological time with the defeat of Satan of evil and of sin. And there are so many more cultures with eerily similar prophecies.
Then this ties in with the modern day 'cults' (according to CNN) who think we are about to end the cabal of evil politicians and end poverty and hunger. Funny how the memelords are always right in the end.
I think you get the idea, past civilisations had much more knowledge than we- thought they did, have you seen the computer made years before Jesus was born?
It is pretty crazy when you sit down and look at all the religions they seem to almost be the same story told over and over again in different ways so we had something to fight over.
I won’t name anymore as it’s surely much more fulfilling discovering these yourself, as it will surely begin your path of spiritual awakening. just remember to make good use of this quote “It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it”. - Anon
