Imagine getting to a level of wealth whereas you can tip people a gram of gold when you go to resorts
I mean, think about it, their local currency is fiat and we all know how fiat is. Most of these countries have weak fiats, considering the strongest fiat currencies are still designed to fail.
By fail, you know what I mean. Think about it, you can only be reading this if you are into crypto thanks to hive, and if you are a fellow #silvergoldstacker then you are doubly knowledgeable about how fiat currencies are NOT the way to store your wealth
Hence going back to what humans have been using for thousands of years. Gold and silver
However
Here is the issue with tipping people a little gram of gold
First of all, how many of these people even know what gold is or how much its worth?
This is not even a knock at these countries or people or their level of education. Ask a random person on the street about gold and if they even bother to entertain you they most likely won’t know to much about it
We have a sort of bias when it comes to certain topics because we are so deep into it
And while we may not be as close as knowledgeable as someone who knows the entire history of gold all the way up to today and the intricacies of today’s gold market…
But for sure we know way more than the average person
Everyone knows that knowledge is power, thus, all the stackers have done pretty good for themselves and all they had to do was nothing or just touch and feel their shiny metals, what a concept.
Or is it that everything got way more expensive, and therefore gold adjusted accordingly.
Imagine its all part of the design to get you to part with your gold, to make you feel like you earned or won something, making some sell some of their gold under the guise of “taking profits” or treating themself with something they want but don’t really need…
So when I think about it, I always reach the conclusion that tipping gold flakes worth $100 probably isn’t the way to go, regardless of wealth
Giving people their local currency and letting them decide what to do with it is always best. Instead of giving them something to do first before able to realize the fruits of that metal
Besides, if you want to do small metal transactions isn’t that what silver is for?

I got tipped in gold once. It fell out of my pocket the same day. There was a new hole in the pocket I didn't knew about. This was when I worked at a restaurant as a bus boy for 2 months.
oh wow what a nice tip, lucky for whoever found it

I love those 100 gram sheets, I've got a couple stashed away somewhere. Silver is more practical if you're looking to trade, I agree. I wouldn't want to break up the gold, it's too nice to damage even though it's intended to be able to easily to so!

the funny thing is that its really 101.1 grams
They wanted to make sure you are guaranteed to have at least a gram per flake
I could bring one gold Maple leaf with me to Hong Kong and sell it in any coin shop there and have one big fabulous vacation.
thats the crazy thing, one little coin goes so far!
