HA! Not to belittle all of your iRate musings, which are indeed erudite, but I just LOVE that sell your soul idea. You should copyright that to protect your IP. Know you're big on IP rights :-)
Wish I had something smart to say about iRate, but I found myself back in my college statistics class. Like I was lost in a foreign land with no map or compass. Some problems are very tricky. Especially quantifying and qualifying human behavior and emotion.
Well behavior is easy to quantify in retrospect. Emotion not so much :-)

I no longer believe in IP.
It's become an illusion, a phantom.
It doesn't exist and it doesn't matter.
If someone takes the idea and runs with it I don't care, happy about it even.
And if I try to create my own iteration after that, they can't stop me.
Yeah. I know you aren't. Communicating sarcasm in writing is not one of my strong points I guess :-)
