RE: The death of email?

in LeoFinance3 years ago

I've had email for a long time and I still use it a fair bit, but a lot of communication happens over messaging apps these days. For work it's nice to have the 'paper trail' of email, but it can get too much at times when people CC everyone in. There may be better ways to handle that. Email is insecure, but I could never get people to use encryption.

I used to have a secure email address on a platform, but I can't remember what the name of it was now. I used to love Keybase too, but no one really uses that anymore.

A friend uses ProtonMail which is encrypted. I liked Keybase, but it hasn't taken off. I was a fan of PGP/GPG, but that tends to be too complex for most people.

ProtonMail is what I had an account in. My wife's cousin did some work for them so I had a free account at one point.
