I've not been too involved with other coins, but I do know Hive has a great community. I have met quite a few of then. When we get together we are not generally talking about how much money we can make. People are excited about what Hive can be and how it can change the world. I find that more interesting. It has endured some crises, such as the takeover and low price.
It is also fun. I am more interested in interacting with people than just watching numbers change.
