The Hive platform definitely needs growth so I am in favour of whatever drives that. I think the opportunity could be in niche communities, e.g. music artists, crafters, sports, that do not make it big on the corporate platforms. If you get a few people bringing over their fans then there is potential for it to take off.
We do have an issue with Hive as a brand name as it clashes with other things, but we need something to sell as the 'everything platform'. Leo offers a lot, but people will want games and other dapps. They need to know the platform offers those too.
We need to be wary of driving people away. I hear too many stories of people getting downvotes and just giving up. We need to deal with abuse, but just disagreeing with what someone is doing may not be reason enough to try to get them to leave. Some big accounts have strong ideas of what Hive should be, but it needs to be diverse.
I 100% agree. I think there is a TON of low-hanging fruit for us to gather small influencers and get them to bring their audience over.
Yes! We are building the LeoInfra onboarding protocol in a very specific way to benefit all of Hive
This is our onboarding flow and how its aimed to get them:
We really want to work with other Hive dApps on this onboarding flow. Maybe even offering incentives for them to try Splinterlands, Hive Keychain, Actifit, etc... By offering them a few bucks to go to those dApps and do a few interactions
Our goal here is to grow the whole of Hive
That's what I want to hear :)
