When I gave up meat (many years ago) the options in the supermarket were few. Now there's half an aisle of freezers with veggie stuff.

Sort:  

vegetables are a good choice. They are healthy for the body.

We certainly don't need as much meat as some consume.

I have limited my meat intake. Focusing more on vegetables. Thats th way to go.

That's good of course, better for human (and obviously) animal health, but it's still mostly junk food. i do very occasionally buy from these frozen plant based sections, but mostly make my own from fresh veggies.

'Junk' is relative. Not everyone has time to prepare from scratch and having meat alternatives can migrate more people away from it.
