This is a great topic and very interesting. Blockchain has the potential to change the gaming world. For me the point is very clear. To make web3 gaming work you need to have a gaming platform with a convincing tokenomics. One of the best examples of this today is Splinterlands. A tradable card game that runs on HIVE blockchain.
