Hello everyone!
Today I thought I would have a lazy day. The 15th of August is a public holiday in Belgium as it's the assumption of Mary, which is a catholic inspired holiday. I don't thinknthere are many people left who really celebrate the holiday, but nobody wants to take it away neither. Anyway, I don't have to work so I am happy! :D
As said I expected today to be a lazy day. It started really lazy, slept the night on the couch with Molly and when my girlfriend woke up, I moved to our bed to sleep further. At noon she woke me up, slept nearly for 12hours, and I went to the supermarket for breakfast. We aye breakfast, went for a walk with our dog Molly and did some chores. In the evening we went to a bbq at my parents place. Had some great meat, fish and roasted vegetables, definitely a great evening with the family! Before going to bed, I wanted to thread a bit but suddenly I thought I didn't write a longform article yet, so here I am. That's it about my day, now about the topic I intended to write about: LPUD or Leo Power Up Day.
LPUD
LPUD, it's a power up day, like you have one for Hive as well. To be honest, I've never participated in one before. You may wonder why? Well, I always power up what I can afford straight away as I want to utilize the compound interest at full power. Why wait 29 days to power up if I can utilize the LP straight away? You may wonder: Why do you participate now? There are two reasons: my LP goal and I learned something new.
Recently I already blogged about my goals for 2024. One of my goals is to reach 5k LP at years end. I am trying to achieve this mainly through engagement on threads of Inleo. Though the goal is a bit stretched, so I'll probably have to buy some $LEO somewhere to reach my goal. As I would have to buy some anyway, it's better to spread it a bit in combination with $LEO being quite cheap.
The second reason is that I discovered that there are prices to be won. You could win INLEO premium if you power up at least 150 LEO. Besides these prices, you could win a delegation of LP as well. This could vary between a couple of thousand, up to 20k LP. That would definitely be a great addition to curate other threads in my opinion!
You may wonder why would I even bother to power up LEO? Well, I really believe in the Inleo platform. Ofcourse they are powered by Hive but they are really developing further and thinking actively how they could improve and attract more people. Recently they added a referral system to stimulate people even more to bring in new people!
Conclusion
It's the first time I participated in LPUD but I truely believe their ecosystem has a lot of potential. So there's only one question that rests me: Did you power up some $LEO?
Thanks for reading!
