My understanding is that there is no need for dustvotes, as there is no minimum threshold for LEO rewards
Oh, that's great! So even if I give an upvote of for example $0,002 in LEO, both I and the receiver will get $0,001 worth of LEO. Would be nice!

What's dustvotes?
I don't know the exact details, but if the total combination of upvotes is smaller than $0,02 at post payout, nothing will be paid out. As said, I'm no expert so should search for more detailed info.

So it doesn't make sense (in terms of curation rewards) to upvote a comment with less than $0,02 or you need to be sure others will upvote as well to pass the threshold.

It's different for articles as you can be quite sure others will upvote as well and the threshhold will be passed.
