Consultation paper launched by the UK Treasury dept. It sets out a new digital pound to be used by households & businesses. Plans to use alongside current in the short-medium term.... 🤔

Yeah but how are they going to integrate with the existing payment systems; point of sale systems, credits card, and commercial bank networks. Who is going to build the infrastructure let alone run it?

These are not coming out soon.
