Thinking outside Sandbox
It is surprising to see how the mainstream headlines and the respective (critical) replies or alternative interpretations from the other side ride right on top of the previous ones, in full excitement in public opinion as to if they were waves breaking in front of one's feet.
I suspect that this dynamic obeys a strategy at the service of an agenda where entertaining people through supposedly important events serves as a screen, dissimulating or fragmenting what is relevant.
Tell me, which events do you consider important at the moment?
Perhaps, any of us will quickly check the trends in Google or any browser of our choice. More than one will rely on social networks such as Twitter or WhatsApp.
Now! Will the information be truthful?
You will agree with me that it is a widely discussed topic in some circles, although probably, it matters little to whom the fundamental problem is subsistence.
A greedy crypto investor will monitor market volatility in search of profiting from it, finding before others the gems that will make him a new affluent.
Unfortunately and to his misfortune. Who has the inside information and the ability to manipulate the markets will plunder your pockets without one greedy even noticing.
So, one must be extremely careful about the content one consumes daily. In addition, the vortex of information is so great that it exceeds the cognitive limits, forcing one to concentrate only on what is of interest to one.
Yes, being well informed is overrated in these times. I remember my dear great uncle, who lived almost ninety years, sitting at the dining room table of his house with a whole range of printed newspapers, analyzing the political situation of my country.
Now, younger people flit from message to message on the small smartphone screen keeping pace with the headlines on social media. They no longer need to do newspaper clipping and analysis, as others do it for them.
Tell me, what stopped the recent demonstrations in Kazakhstan? Will Russia invade Ukraine? How was the reception of the Digital Yuan? Which countries are leading Bitcoin mining?
You will probably be more occupied in seeing how the crypto portfolio evolves to forge capital that will protect you from inflation. I think you are doing well, as you can do little to influence the course of world events.
Well, my great-uncle could not do much about it either, other than following the course of events with disgust until he stopped caring enough to face his destiny.
But if your area of influence is such that you can change the course; Don't waste your time.
Most of the readers on read.cash are crypto enthusiasts, especially; of Bitcoin Cash.
I think they have every reason to be as hopeful as I am about what BCH can do for the world if it achieves the goal of mass adoption.
The progress in ecosystem development on the mainnet as well as the second layer is more than encouraging. However, I wonder, what about what's going on around it significantly affects it?
How successful will the projects moving forward in the Bitcoin Cash community be? Why is the market capitalization of BCH decreasing? When will it definitively disengage from the effect of BTC's behavior?
While community writers do a commendable job in spreading the goodness and features of Bitcoin Cash; Others authors denounce with convincing arguments the obstacles and conspiracies against it to counteract the effect of malicious information. It is still necessary to block the strategy's impact of concealment and fragmentation of the valuable information.
I will be honest with you. I don't have the solution, but at least being aware of it; is a start.
The world is more interconnected than we think. Perhaps, like the school of fish, we should all act together to secure the world we deserve, and where it seems that money ownership will be predominant.
So, I think it goes without saying why BCH is out of the headlines.
I'm not a big supporter of BCH, but I see what you wanted to say here... The problem of "not talking" about certain things in "our days" isn't because something has no value... Many times it is quite opposite... As you said, people who want to accumulate certain assets will not brag around, but keep building in quiet... Those are the people who are "creating the headlines"...
Also, I think that certain blockchains can't be "hidden" from the public if they have value... Sooner or later, they will come to the surface and take over... The only thing that we, small investors, have to do is to keep our ears on the ground and mute the noise...
I have picked this post on behalf of the @OurPick project and it will be highlighted in the next post!
