I think we Indians are quite lucky especially those who are married because they get GOLD from family members during the marriage ceremony and infact, buying gold is considered auspicious during festivals. And that's a risk free investment. Good one @sugandhaseth.

So trueee @richasingh, thanks to my marriage we now have a few assets in gold. But the thing is that they are not assets until you use them in some way. Right now they are just showpieces.

That's true as well Sugandha, We would probably use that gold to buy a house which is a liability in itself. It's crazy.
