My crypto journeys

From the beginning of 2022 until now, it's been like a roller coaster for me. Recently, I was thinking about staying away from crypto trading because I've been losing money from the start. Although I saw too many chances or ways to survive, in the end, I still can't make it. I'm broke to the point that I can't afford to pay for gas or top up the wallet for transfer. Not to mention, one of my wallets that was connected to my biggest defi investment has been hacked. The hacker's method is simple: whenever there's a BNB transferred to the wallet, that BNB will be automatically transferred to whatever wallet that he setup to receive the hacked funds.

My transaction history

Forget the funds I've lost, but after the second time my funds sent to this wallet were stolen, of course I won't send another penny his way. But what about the other coin inside the wallet? my defi? How am I going to move then without a bnb to pay for the gas fee? How do I revoke whatever permission that I don't remember having granted to him for spending BNB from my wallet? Isn't there any way to get my wallet back that doesn't require me to top up the wallet with BNB first? The answer is none.

There's many people who fall victim to him

I've spent a few days trying to figure this out. Some of my actions included reporting the scam to several organisations and websites. What more? While I was investigating the hacker's wallet, he accumulated almost several hundred BNB by scamming people. FYI, the screenshot I gave with this article was just taken when I wrote this.

His latest account balance

Actually,
before this happened, I've been scammed once too, but that story is too complicated for me to tell. What I can say is that the scammer was a professional, trained, and maybe he was doing this everyday. It was a syndicate because I had to communicate with several people. He can't be all three different personalities at once without stuttering. At least that's what I thought.

My sunshine 🌞

So the Eid festival is next month, and this month's pay is half because I got infected by COVID early this last month and had to take a leave. The virus got my 2 year old son first, before getting me and my wife. Whatever the reason, I'm at least going to buy them some new clothes to celebrate this upcoming Eid. The biggest problem is how to get money to fix my car, which has been stranded for 3 months. It is important because we need to go visit our parents on Eid. That is mandatory. Lucky me, I had one investment that I requested to withdraw, and it will be withdrawn from my account around the middle of the month. I was excited to see my wife's face when I said to her "get ready, let's go shopping." Well,
this is a story about how I lost my savings. Maybe some people are going to say I was a fool to fall for scammers. Well, I admit, there was a time I was fooled. Who doesn't? But there have been times when I have been successful. me, this is just what life is. It's rolling like a wheel. Sometimes we're on top, and then back to the bottom, and repeat until it's eventually stopped. Thanks
for reading and wishing everyone a blessed month of Ramadhan.
