It is quite interesting how a lot of individuals and even countries has started embracing the web3 space fully.
A lot of technologies are building on the Blockchain and it's making transactions and work much more easier than the normal status quo.
Now every form of physical craft, skills and talents are finding their space in the Web3 and integrating themselves into it.
So i was invited for a web3 conference and i was amazed at a lot of things that happened in the conference.
The conference had a couple of speakers who came to speak from their different field. And they all spoke om how they have integrated their skill into the web3 and it helped them to scale to the peak of their career.
There were over 200 persons in attendance for the conference and a couple of them are still students.
Though i felt sorry for some of the students, because a couple of them haven't really had much or any experiences in the Web3 space, so a lot of them were totally lost during the conference, because some speakers were speaking big big terminologies that the new folks couldn't relate with.
However myself, i enjoyed every bit of the sections because i could relate with the topics, i am not really a newbie on the space.
It was an eye opener for me, i now realize anybody can be relevant on this space and every skill and talent can be integrated into this space, the first thing is to find your place.
Though i have plans of going to the grassroots to host conferences like this and also hosting a workshop especially for the very younger generations to educate them in the web3 and the Blockchain Technology.
It will help a lot much more in preserving the space in our society.
Quite funny, a lot of persons are engaging in the Blockchain without knowing it. Just that they are not conversant with the big terminologies and other technical aspect of it.
From the statistics that were taken in the conference, a lot of the folks are into playing games of which they spemd lots of money for nothing much, now they were told that if they invest still same time in the Blockchain games, they will make much more from it.
It was all an eye opener for me, but my only problem with the conference was there was no call to action after the conference on the first day of the conference.
On the day 1 of the conference all the speakers were just telling the attendees, get knowledge, go for knowledge, but no one was specific enough for the kind of knowledge they can go for and where they could get these knowledge from or which platform is best for which specialty one wants to dive into.
But the speakers on the second day dod more justice to the conference by coming a little down to their level and as well putting them in communities for mentorship.
It was all fun, imterractive, educating and another opportunity to connect with like minded folks and bigger guys on the space.
There were representatives from a couple of companies real estate, amazon, kiboko dao, amplify growth africa etc.
