You are not the only one it seems! A lot of people were pretty confident that the older cards would be enough, but CL does have a bit of power creep (low CP though) and a few new abilities have made a huge difference. For me, "amplify" has been a game changer and now reflect with owster and thorns with Mylor are far more valuable.
I was one of the guys being pretty confident yeah 🤣 Lot of things are changed since I got introduced at Steemfest in Krakow to this Splinterlands addiction.
Amplify is for sure a thing to love! Pretty almost lost everytime playing against a card with it.
Mylor is already a beast since they released it. Didn't have the resources to buy it that time. Hopefully I'll ever find one cheap by accident otherwise I'll keep renting it 😎 Saving up for the weirding warrior at the moment to be able to play this amplify thing! (EDIT: Actually bought it 😅)
