The poll doesnt show up in the preview. Do the thread, click the poll, fill it in, hit add poll and wait a little bit then submit the thread.

Aha. I did that except didn't wait for preview to show, then i lost the post. Thanks, i'll try again..
It is a common mistake people make. There is no way to know unless told.
