RE: The ridiculous cost of living

My smartphone is my mailbox, my tv, my radio, my newspaper, my book, my computer, my gaming console, my map, my wallet, my calculator, my photo album, and oh yeah, my phone.

Seems like #smartphones arent so costly.

How much does a mailbox cost? $30?
Gaming Console? 200?
Computer/Laptop? $300?
Calculator? $10
Photo Album? $10
Wallet? $10

How about road atlas? $15
Camera? $150
Video Player? $50
Music Player? $50

It seems that all of this would have cost near $1,000 20 or 25 years ago.

Amazing how we conveniently forget all the things #technology make obsolete which use to cost money.

The areas that technology penetrates tend to go down in price effect.

Those areas that have not had #technology penetrate them tend to be not have the price reduction that other industries experience.

Look for #construction, #education, and #healthcare to see serious price drops over the next 10-15 years.

Ah, camera, I knew I was forgetting one of those things. really if you added up all of the books and music it would easily pass that $1000 mark I bet. Especially those dang hard covers!
