Bukayo Saka usurps Thierry Henry feat to break stunning Arsenal record
Bukayo Saka has scored his 50th Premier League goal for Arsenal, and he's done it a younger age than Thierry Henry did.
Saka netted Arsenal's opener against Liverpool, making him the youngest player to hit half a century in the club's history at 23 years and 52 days old.
Henry joined the club at the age of 22 in 1999, and was 24 years and 128 days old when he netted his 50th for the Gunners.
Ironically, Henry hit the milestone against Liverpool too.
Arsenal beat the Reds 2-1 at Anfield in 2001, with Henry netting from the spot in that game.
Freddie Ljungberg netted the winner, with Jari Litmanen bagging the consolation goal for the home side.
Henry is Arsenal's all-time top goalscorer with 228 goals. He scored 175 of those goals in the Premier League.
Saka has beaten a number of other Arsenal legends to being the youngest to hit 50 Premier League goals.
Theo Walcott was 26 years and 69 days old when he did it in 2015 against West Bromwich Albion.
