I think most of the excitement is around future regulation being positive towards crypto and the idea of not having a CBDC.
But of course a lot just want numbers to go up!!
I think this is most of it.
And a CBDC is not in Trumps control. It would require a change in Congress to the Federal Reserve Act plus the participation of the Fed.
Powell and a number of the present Fed governors (like Waller) have shown no interest in one.
